Five dead in gay nightclub shooting
Five people have been killed in a shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado. At least 18 others have been injured.
The attack happened at the Club Q nightclub. In a statement Club Q described the incident as a hate crime, and on Face book said that it was “devastated by the senseless attack on our community. Our prayers and thoughts are with all the victims and their families and friends. We thank the quick reactions of heroic customers that subdued the gunman and ended this hate attack.”
A suspect is being held in custody while the police investigate the incident.
