This year, WorldPride and the EuroGames have come to Copenhagen. The festivities are kicking off today, Thursday 12th August, and they take place across Copenhagen and Malmö.
Having already received support from WorldPride Patron, HRH The Crown Princess of Denmark, Copenhagen 2021 will celebrate the international LGBTI+ community, and shine a light on Queer culture, the people and the heroes.
The action-packed schedule includes a range of marches, talks, the Under The Rainbow concert ft. Princess Nokia, Drag Night, and the world’s most inclusive sporting event the EuroGames.
Within our Official Guide, Pride Life has put together a day-by-day breakdown of the events taking place in Copenhagen and Malmö, in the coming days. Which will give you a taste of what to expect as the events unfold.
Obviously, in the current climate, we aren’t all able to attend the ceremonies in the flesh. Not to worry, Copenhagen 2021 will be offering a range of exclusive live streams for the discerning community to enjoy the festivities in locations across Copenhagen – although tickets are still on sale.
Copenhagen 2021 have carefully curated a range of forums and festivals that will champion all subsets of the LGBTI+ community. The forums will discuss the latest happenings across the world, and our communities progress with their quest for equality and undivided change. Perhaps, none more apt than inspiring the next generation with YouthPride at Amiralen – next to WorldPride Park.
