FIRST-EVER LGBTQ+ coin launched in the UK!

As Pride UK approaches its 50th anniversary, it’s more popular than ever, so popular in fact, that it’s being commemorated on a 50p coin!

The Royal Mint has created the new commemorative UK 50p in honour of this historic milestone, with a design created by artist, writer, and LGBTQ+ activist Dominique Holmes.

Made with the support of Pride in London, Dominique’s evocative artwork captures the essence of Pride’s history in the UK and the indomitable spirit of our LGBTQ+ community in the UK with trans and POC inclusive flags.
