Happy LGBT+ History Month!
Today is the start of LGBT+ History Month in the UK.
Originating in the USA, the first UK LGBT+ History Month was started in 2005 in the UK by Sue Sanders as part of Schools Out UK, which seeks to educate young people on LGBT+ issues.
The theme of this year’s History Month in the UK is Behind the Lens, which looks at the invaluable contribution LGBT+ people have made to the movie and TV industries.
