Patriarch who blamed gay marriage for coronavirus tests positive

Patriarch Filaret of one of Ukraine’s largest Orthodox communities blamed gay marriage for coronavirus in March.

Now the 91-year-old has contracted the virus himself.

According to Ukraine news service 112 International Filaret has also developed pneumonia but is stable in hospital.
